022 // A Crash Course on How to take Action in Social Justice as a Business Owner

In this week's episode of The Creative's Corner Podcast, we're circling back to an IG Live I did last month. This feels reminiscent of last year which means we’re still in a recurring cycle…and we need to talk.
In this episode, we discusses:

Resources and actions steps you can do as a business owner to take action as you go through the process of learning.

*Firstly, if you are a member of a marginalized group, make sure you are mentally taking care of yourself during these periods. Give yourself boundaries and space to breathe.*

Action steps:

Accountability has to occur. Hold your officials accountable. And use your platforms accordingly. Communicate with your people. If you have the means to give, start setting aside money in your budget to give to these funds. And share that with your buyers. Make sure steps 1-3 are happening consistently.

Here are the books I recommend to continue your learning:
-Hood Feminism
-Emergent Strategy
-my book Inclusive Strategies for your Coaching Business
