If you're in Houston and you're even remotely creative—whether you're a content creator, event lover, R&B connoisseur, or just someone who likes being around good people and good vibes—this week was made for you.
I’ve got my hands in a few of these (either hosting, helping with marketing, or just showing up to support), and I pulled this list together with you in mind.
Here are 5 events happening in Houston from May 28 to June 1, 2025, perfect for creatives, side hustlers, and folks who love a good time with intention.
1. Scents & Stories (rescheduled to june 25th, 2025)
📍 b. elevated candle bar in River Oaks
🗓 Wednesday, May 28 | 7PM
🎟 $60 | Tickets on their website
Love journaling, wine (or tea), intention-setting, and candle-making? This intimate experience is your mid-week reset. You'll get a guided journaling workbook, your own hand-poured candle to pick up later in the week, and a cozy space to sip, reflect, and connect. Perfect for creatives who need a moment to pause and reconnect with themselves.
2. For The Yearners
📍 bald kitty, downtown
🗓 Thursday, May 29 | 9PM
🎟 Free | RSVP recommended
This one’s for the lovers—of R&B, of deep convos, of low-key flirting. Hosted in collaboration with Vibration Station, I’ll be holding down the Conversation Pit, where we’ll be sparking intentional dialogue and maybe a few connections too 👀. Come single or boo’d up—but definitely come curious. Rumor has it, there’s a little mingling magic in the mix.
3. The Day Shift
📍 neighbors, east downtown
🗓 Friday, May 30 | 12–4PM
🎟 Free | RSVP on the Posh App
Need a place to work, network, or break out of your WFH bubble? Come vibe with us at The Day Shift, a coworking and creative networking space hosted by me and DJ A List. Whether you're a freelancer, creative entrepreneur, or remote worker, this is a space to meet new people, sip something good, and get work done. (And yes, the music is always on point.)
4. Baddlands Fest at The Podium of Porsche River Oaks
📍 the podium of porsche, River Oaks

Expect dancing, community, and all the feel-good vibes to end your weekend right. I won’t be there in person, but I’m proudly supporting behind the scenes.
