The Great Lock-In Challenge: 120 Days, 4 Goals, A Better You
Everyone’s buzzing about the Great Lock-In, and honestly? I’m here for it. But instead of just focusing on hustling harder at work, I want to invite you into a lock-in that’s about your whole life.
Imagine this: 120 days. 6 key areas of daily check-ins. 4 big goals crushed by December 31st. A framework that doesn’t feel overwhelming, but gives you momentum in the places that matter most.
This is how we’re closing out the year—strong, grounded, and intentional.
Why the Great Lock-In Matters
The last four months of the year can feel like a blur. Holidays, deadlines, and endless “new year, new me” talk start creeping in. But what if you didn’t wait until January to reset?
What if you started now?
That’s what the Great Lock-In is about—creating habits and goals that honor all of you while setting yourself up for the new year.
The 6 Daily Check-Ins
Each day, ask yourself one simple question in these six areas of life. These are your mini habits—small actions that make you 1% better every day.
Mental 🧠
Did I feed my mind today?
Read an article, journal, write, listen to a podcast—whatever gets your creativity flowing.Physical 🏃🏽
Did I move my body?
Whether it’s yoga, running, dancing, or just a 5-minute stretch, movement matters.Emotional 💕
Did I express myself in a healthy way?
Communicate, write, talk it out—don’t bottle it up.Spiritual ✨
Did I connect with something bigger than myself?
Pray, meditate, pull tarot, ground yourself in nature—whatever brings you back to center.Social 📞
Did I connect with my people?
Call your friends, text your family, check in on your community. Even 5 minutes counts.Vocational 🎨
Did I take a step toward my work or creative goals?
Write a page, paint a stroke, send an email, spend 15 minutes on that project you’ve been putting off.
The 4 Big Goals
On top of your daily check-ins, you’ll pick 4 big goals to accomplish before December 31st—one per month. Think of them as your milestones.
You can choose from these categories:
Well-being: mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual goals
Social: friendships, family, relationships
Creative/Vocational: work, business, side hustle, or passion project
Personal Celebration: a trip, holiday, or special treat for yourself to honor the progress you’ve made
The point isn’t perfection. It’s progress. By the end of the year, you’ll be able to look back and actually see how far you’ve come.
How to Join the Challenge
This challenge is simple, flexible, and totally yours. But if you’re like me, accountability makes it stick. So here’s how you can lock in with me:
✨ Write down your 4 big goals for the next 120 days.
✨ Start your 6 daily check-ins—they only take a few minutes.
✨ Share your progress with your friends or in your journal.
✨ Celebrate the small wins along the way.
By December 31st, you won’t just feel different—you’ll be different.
Final Thoughts: Progress Over Perfection
The Great Lock-In isn’t about grinding yourself into burnout. It’s about building a rhythm that honors your mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and creative self.
So the question is—are you ready to lock in?
Drop your 4 goals in the comments below, or share them with me on Instagram and Threads. Let’s finish this year with better energy than we started.
